• Meal Applications Help Boost School Funding 

    The completion of a TUHSD National School Lunch and Breakfast program meal application brings significant additional funds to the school site, as well as qualify students for individual benefits such as college application waivers, Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) testing fee waivers, and the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) via GetInternet.gov or can call 877-384-2575 . 

     Your child(ren) may be eligible for free or reduced-price meal benefits if you meet any of the following criteria:

    • If you receive food stamps, California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKS), CalFresh, or Food Distribution on Indian Reservations (FDPIR).
    • If your total household income is the same or less than the amounts on the Income Eligibility Guidelines. A household is a group of related or unrelated individuals living together and sharing living expenses.
    • If the child is a foster child and is the legal responsibility of the court or welfare agency. Foster children are approved based on their “Personal Use” income and not that of the family’s income.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
