I'm the President of Amnesty International Redwood High School Chapter. I joined Amnesty to help the world in as many ways as I could, and because it seemed like a great oppertunity to make an impact in my comnmunity. In my free time, I play in the school band, jazz band, and jazz combo. Come anytime to see me (we have no fans yet!).

Lilly Kane-Dacri is a student at Redwood High school located in the Bay Area, California.  She began her life in Chengdu, China soon moving to Marin County. Growing up as an only child she was able to see the world in a more adult view.  As she began to create her own morals and philosophy to live by she realized that the issues of others are also the issues of her. Kane-Dacri then began to reach out to her local Marin Chinese Cultural Organization and learned that she wants to learn more about other cultures and the hardships of others.  In her freshmen year of high school she joined Model United Nations to get a political and humanitarian view of the world.  Kane-Dacri then continued her interest by starting an Amnesty International chapter, which had not been revived by students for several years.  Throughout her sophomore and junior she continues to aid those in need and be a leader in community for bringing awareness.  Since Kane-Dacri was a young girl she always cared about others and this had lead to her passion for the concern of human wellness.  She has projected this passion will impact greatly what she chooses to pursue as a career later on in life.
