Welcome to the Counceling Enriched Classroom (CEC)
at Tamiscal Independent High School.

The mission of the Counseling Enriched Classroom (CEC) at Tamiscal Independent High School
is to provide a culturally responsive, structured, and nurturing learning environment
that encourage high academic achievement and improved social-emotional wellness.
The team includes a school psychologist, education specialist,
certificated math instructor, and two paraeducators,
who collaborate to apply best practices to create a supportive environment
that maintains high standards while offering a curriculum
that is challenging and meaningful.
It is our mission to ensure that students will develop the emotional, social, and academic skills
necessary to succeed in the general education environment,
workplace, and post-secondary education environments.
