Our Tam Counseling Team values Community, Equity, and a Student-Centered focus to support all students in acquiring the skills, knowledge, and experiences needed to become productive citizens, effective communicators, and lifelong learners. All students bring a unique perspective to our community, and we hope to empower our students to gradually take charge of their educational journeys. High school is a time of great change and development and each Tam student is assigned to a school counselor for the duration of their enrollment with us. Your school counselor is a resource and partner in: finding the right balance between your academic, extracurricular, and personal commitments and goals; identifying personal strengths, values, and challenges to shape a positive high school experience; navigating post-high school opportunities and systems. Throughout the school year, the Tam Counseling Program connects with students and families through a variety of individual meetings, group events, and classroom activities. We are committed to meeting the needs of our students as best as possible and look forward to getting to know you!
