    Our Fine Arts programs provide excellent preparation for the student who intends to focus on the arts in college or career.  But you don't have to be planning on a career in the arts to benefit from the program.  Our courses benefit all students because the process of creating and critiquing art engages students in higher-order thinking skills such as analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and flexible, imaginative problem-solving.  In recognition of this, at least one year of Fine Arts is required for graduation from the Tamalpais Union High School District and for entry into the CSU and UC systems.
