• Freshman Advisory is hosted by Link Crew on the first Friday of the month during tutorial class.  Upcoming dates for 2012-13 are November 2, December 7, January 11, March 3, and May 10th.

     

    Friday, November 2 is Freshman Advisory.  Link Leaders will be facilitating discussions around organization, as well as actually helping freshmen organize their binders and backpacks, during tutorial.  Because of this, freshmen will remain in their tutorials for the majority of the tutorial period.

     

    December 7th will be our next Advisory and Link Leaders will be talking with freshmen about how to create a plan to study for finals. Link Crew will be emailing freshman teachers for an overview of final exams as we get closer so that freshmen can plan study strategies.

    1.  Access Teacher Websites:

    1. Go to www.tamhigh.org > Teacher websites
    2. Click on teacher's name

    2.  Accessing your school work from home

     
       a. Type in http://connect.tamdistrict.org
        b.  Click on Home Directory 

    • Files need to be saved in the right place in order to see them.  Make sure you save your file on the server under your name in “Save As" on your school computer

    3.  Checking your grades from home: Home Access Center

    1. Page 12 – 13 in Homework Notebook or online under “Support”
    2. Parents can create their own log ins as well!
    3. The first time you do this, you will need to do it from a school computer
