I'm Angelica Vohland, Redwood's Amnesty International Club Vice President! Thank you so much for signing up, and I look forward to working with you over the next year or so!

 

I'm sure many of you signed up at Club Day having little to no idea what Amnesty International is. Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 7 million people who take injustice personally. We are campaigning for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all! Throughout the year, we will be spreading awareness, planning fundraisers, attending conventions, and signing petitions!

 

Our first meeting starts at the beginning of lunch on Friday, September 25th (this Friday) in room 185. Pizza will be served, and please feel free to bring a friend or two! This is a great opportunity for you to see if Amnesty International is something you are interested in and if you plan on continuing over the next few months.
